Lauer Aviation is the #1 Rated Attraction in Mercer, WI on TripAdvisor.
Bill is a great instructor, I was thrilled to be able to log some float plane time while on vacation in the area. Two of my sisters were able to ride along too and were equally thrilled with the flight!
We took a scenic flight with Bill Lauer and got sight of waterfalls, Lake Superior, and also the history of the land. An experience I will never forget.
We had a great time. Thanks Bill. Beautiful view of the North Woods, trees in there full fall beauty. We landed on several small lakes and flew over the cranberry bogs.
I booked this trip as a surprise for my dad and two sons. Some people might be a bit nervous for this type of adventure, have no worries Bill is a complete professional and an even nicer person. If you are in the area this is an absolute must do. I'm a little slow writing this review ...has been nearly 2 months and my dad still mentions this every time i see him.
Bill took my wife and I on an early morning flight and the conditions were perfect!! Bill had an incredible knowledge of area that we requested to fly over.
Bill took my 2 small children and I on an air adventure! We toured the beautiful Northwoods and learned so much about the area. We saw sights that you can only see by air. I was a bit nervous at first, but was quickly put to ease as soon as we were in the air. My kids were thrilled. They are still talking about it!
This was a great experience. Once you get in the air you start to realize just how many lakes and marshes are in the Northwoods. There is so much to see from the air and you can cover a lot of ground in the plane and see things you won't see from the road. I would recommend taking a tour, it is well worth it.
Excellent tour! Highly recommend Bill. Very personable, and friendly. I purchased this as a gift and it turned into one interested in possible flight lessons! Thank you for the dock side pick up, it made the experience that much more exciting.
There are not very many opportunities to take a seaplane ride, especially in an area as unique as the Northwoods. This is an experience of a lifetime and one to check off the bucket list. If you are all about adventure, you need to be all about a seaplane ride in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. One of the best excursions is following the Lake Superior shoreline.
